Mary P. (Thatcher) Desprez, age 79, passed away peacefully in Wingate at Brewster on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on December 24, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Mary (Ryle) Thatcher. The couple then moved to Walpole, where they spent the next 30 years and welcomed their six children. With her family always as her first priority, Mary also worked outside the home, holding positions as a crossing guard, a supermarket manager and an office manager.

Upon retirement in 1995, Mary and Norm moved to Dennis, MA., where they enjoyed exploring the Cape with their children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Mary also earned a reputation for her tremendous cooking and baking skills.
