Condolence & Memory Journal

Russell Minkwitz was my classmate in high school. He was handsome, a great athlete, and a very good student. He was a true scholar-athlete.

Russell was a truly nice person. He was soft spoken and modest. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was good natured in general and took kidding well.

I met Russell at our 40th reunion. He hadn't changed at all. He was the same modest, soft spoken, intelligent, friendly, articulate person. Modest in spite of his considerable achievements in so many areas, his full life, his large and loving family.

I have great memories of Russ, who was one of my favorite classmates. He lives on in my memory.

Deeply sorry for your loss. Russell was a great person and a great boss. I had the pleasure of working for him. I was his secretary at Aerovox. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

To Carole and family

Please accept my deepest condolences for your family's loss. As I grew to know Russ I was amazed at his spirit and the love of his extended family.
When Russ and I debated the political scene for the coming election I was glad when I made him smile. He never saw things the way I did and his continued conservative position made for many a thoughtful evening. My thoughts are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort - Carol

I worked very closely with Russ over the summer as a HHA. He truly changed me as a person for the better. He taught me to appreciate things more and he changed the way I looked at the meaning of life. The family was the most welcoming family I've ever met. Sadly I had to move onto college and stop working for him. Russ truely was a good man and I'm so thankful that I was able to help him and his family during his battle with ALS. R.I.P Russel i will remember you forever.
